if those are current photos i dont hink your going to make it :(..........What kind of screws did you use on the tires?

No Pasco this year. Borrowed some parts from v13, but they won't work on my setup.  :'( So, decided to call it off on Saturday night.... poor time management on my part.  :wallbash:
The screws are just like the ones you can get from summit or jegs for drag tires. Prolly don't do much, but can't hurt I figure.

see your runnin manual brakes..  what about the brake push rod popping out of master when car is bent.. what did you do to stop this?  and cut down that rear a-arm bolt for the "rainy day" that sometimes happens ;)

Mike, not exactly sure what the kid did, but we have not had the rod pop out...
As for the bolt being cut... Front end is not tweaked yet.. We got as far as the firewall and decided to not make the Pasco show..

I put a stop in the brake switch hole to keep the rod from pulling out. On a chevy, we kinda run out of brakes cause of the floor bubbling up from the frame, the pedal hits the floor. Not as much of a problem on the bop cars. I actually used a chevy pedal assy since it had more bend in it than the stock buick one. Now that we have the time, I might build a longer rod to get the pedal off the floor some more.
We haven't touched the front end yet. It still has the stock springs and brakes on it, so we haven't cut the bolts off short yet. Was going to just shim the rear bolt on the arms to gain some tire clearance. We are going to run a short tire, with a low bumper mount. I have some other spindles to use to gain a bit of height, I heard there might be a different lower a arm that will help also... I need to do some more looking around to figure that one out.  ;)

Thanks, wanted to do this for a long time. Finally decided to dedicate the time to do it, even if it meant missing a show cause of the extra time spent on this car. On the next car, it will hopefully go in relatively easy. Except, we aren't going to run too many more of these I don't think.

Got this new battery box with a couple cars we bought. None of our others have lids... Will have to modify this one a bit.

Cool diagram if you're into that lame 24v stuff I guess? Idk anything about that crap.  ;D
